Assembly instructions for ventilation sets

Here we show how the components of a ventilation set 160 ECO are connected to each other. For other ventilation kits the steps are roughly the same.

 

Note: Wiring work may be necessary. The connection should be carried out by authorized specialist personnel. The legal regulations (VDE guidelines) must be followed in all cases. The company CRP Import – Export GmbH assumes no liability or guarantee for damage to objects and people caused by improper connection.

 

1. Components of the ventilation set

First unpack the components. The exhaust air set consists of an aluminum flex hose for discharging the exhaust air, an activated carbon filter, a pipe fan, two hose clamps and a connecting sleeve.

You may also have received a connection ring for optional installation on a wall duct. We don’t need this here at first.

2. Connect the pipe fan and activated carbon filter

Connect the tube fan to the activated carbon filter using the connecting sleeve and tighten the screws.

Important: Note in which direction the pipe fan pulls the air. This is indicated by an arrow on the pipe fan. The arrow should point upwards so that the pipe fan sucks in the used air through the activated carbon filter and then filters the exhaust air and transports it further out.

 

3. Connect aluminum flex hose

Connect the aluminum flex hose to the pipe fan. Then fix the aluminum flex hose to the pipe fan by placing a hose clamp around it and tightening it with a screwdriver. Please note the direction of the arrow on the pipe fan in the direction of the hose.

 

4. Ventilation set ready for use

Your ventilation set is already set up!

 

5. Installing the exhaust air set in the grow box

To install the exhaust air set in the grow box, you lead the aluminum flex hose out of the grow box so that the exhaust air can leave the tent. Hang the activated carbon filter and the associated pipe fan as high as possible in the grow box. To do this, you can use the grow box’s carrying straps to hang the exhaust set on the grow box’s ceiling frame. Both the activated carbon filter and the tube fan should be hung and fastened to the ceiling frame of the grow box with two carrying straps each. If the model of your grow box did not come with four carrying straps (e.g. Hydro Shoot), you can also use pulley ratchets for this .
